Description:
NPT taper pipe thread gauges, we provide a complete line and available with sizes from 1/16-27NPT to 6-8NPT
and sizes from 1/16-27NPTF to 6-8NPTF as per National (American) Standard Pipe Taper Threads specification.
NPT thread plug gauge is mainly used to measure the internal threads and ensure that the threads meet the specified
standards and NPT thread plug gauge is an important tool to check whether the internal thread meets the American standard
sealing tapered pipe threads (NPT).
NPTF is utilized as a dry seal while NPT thread plug gauge needs some kind of sealing medium to prevent leaks.
Taper Pipe Threads are one of the more challenging threads to produce and measure.

plug and ring gages are manufactured per ANSI.
The specifications of pipe threads are composed of the thread code (NPT) and the thread size code. For left-hand threads,
please mark "-LH" in the specification. For example, NPT 1/2; NPT 1/2 LH.

Precautions:
1.During use, avoid using the gauge for non-gauge inspection, because there are functional sharp parts in the corners
of the thread and gauge part, which is easy to cause injury to the operator. When inspecting, make sure the product
or gauge is at state of rest.
2. Before use, the gauge and product should be cleaned with oil, or wiped with a clean cloth to confirm that the gauge
is free of rust, scratches, burrs, etc
3.When storing the gauge, dust, chips, etc. should be removed first to prevent rust. Store the gauge in a place where there
is no moisture and the temperature does not change much, and check it regularly.
